Blind Date (part 1)

Gemma doesn’t know if it’s a good sign or a bad sign that she’s not nervous as she drives to the restaurant where they are to meet.

She gets there early and waits inside the gradually cooling car until it’s just a minute before 6:30. Gemma hates this part. What if he’s late? What if he doesn’t show? He sounded nice enough on the phone. Her friend, Molly, assured Gemma that her husband’s friend was “her type.” Still. Friends can be wrong.
